Я очень люблю узнавать какие-то интересные факты из разных областей знаний, а еще больше люблю удивлять этим фактам друзей и знакомых, ну очень мне нравится передавать в массы что-то новое и неизведанное, особенно если публика заинтересованная и благодарная.

1. The English language as we now know it began to emerge in the 14th century from a variety of dialects including Old Norse and Late West Saxon.

14. The longest word in English is 45 letters long! It is "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis"! It refers to a lung disease caused by silica dust.

15. The following sentence contains all 26 letters of the alphabet: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". This sentence is often used to test typewriters or keyboards.

16. The longest English word without a true vowel (a, e, i, o or u) is "rhythm".

17. A word "Bookkeeper". It is the only word in English language with three consecutive double letters!

18. The word "uncopyrightable" is the longest English word in normal use that contains no letter more than once.
